HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON YOUR VACANT PLOT.

After purchasing a piece of land, a few buyers are usually not ready to start immediate construction on their property. Worry not, that bare piece of land can turn out to be a good source of income for you, the buyer, as you wait to figure out what to do with it.

Below are a few ideas buyers can take in order to make profits on their property:

  1. RENT/LEASE

You can either rent or lease your land for a specific period of time for the below purposes;

  • Farming
  • Carwash
  • Beekeeping
  • A Market place ( depending on the size of the land)
  • A temporary project.

This will put the land to use and bring you that extra needed income in these challenging times.

2. BUILDING COMMERCIAL COMPLEXES

If your land or property is near a road or at a strategic location, you can build for commercial purposes i.e. shops or a mall that will generate you some good cash.

3. EVENT VENUES

As most events are usually outdoor activities, this is an excellent way of making quick cash. Creating opportunities for people to host their birthdays, weddings or even corporate event is a sure way of making some quick cash.

Just make sure your plot has a good landscape.

4. CAR PARKING

Buying land in an already developed neighborhood can be such a blessing in terms of opportunities. We all know that a modern house has very little space that parking one car can be a problem. This is where your plots comes in handy. One can get to charge every car parked on your plot. This is a win win situation as you get to provide parking as they pay you a small fee for the service.

5. RECREATIONAL PURPOSES

A property that is close to a tourist facility has a lot of advantages. Outdoor activities have become an in thing in this modern world hence finding camping space has become a big deal for most tourist spots.

It is even an added advantage if your land has got some nice breathtaking views and features. It can earn you some good monies.

In all this, always remember to put it down on paper as it will act as legal binding agreement between you and the person you decide to get into business with. Make sure to involve a lawyer if necessary so as not to lose your land in the process.
